The Great Outdoors!
Moving to Brooklyn was a big change for me. Most of my hobbies and passions involved being outdoors; but I love the energy of the city. Balancing my life always took a lot of effort (especially after I got rid of my car). I found a lot of my friends in Brooklyn feeling the same way. I thought the people of Brooklyn may be in need of an easy, affordable way to escape the city; and so was born Brooklyn Outfitters.
My goal was to create an outdoor adventure company with urban sophistication. We are dedicated to bringing the citizens of New York's finest borough a holistic outdoor experience. That being said, what activities do you enjoy in the outdoors? Is there any activity you would like to see on our upcoming calender? YogaHike? ArtHike? PoetryHike? Massive Snowball Fight?
For the month of December, all of our trips will are heavily discounted. We will also be raffling off free trips through our Facebook Fan Challenge.
Our Mission:
Brooklyn Outfitters is committed to providing creative and challenging excursions to a wide variety of adventure enthusiasts. It is our goal to promote an appreciation for nature and discovery of the outdoors through an engaging, active lifestyle. Get out there!

I've read about "the Outdoors." Do they have internet access?

It seems foolish to pay money to take part in a massive snowball fight. For anyone interested in such an activity, all you have to do is go to prospect park on a snowy afternoon around the time that kids get out of school. bring a friend or two and prepare lots of snowballs. then, when a group of teens walk by, just start chucking snowballs at them. i'd say there is about a 95% chance that they will return fire.
there you go. it's a large money saver, unless the kids beat you and steal your money.
