Fred, you hit the nail on the head! I have been wallowing in my sadness lately. Have had a rough year with the loss of my Brother and My Sister, Cataract surgery which through me for a loss for a while but it is successful, My wife has had a rough year physically as a result of her Cancer and treatments, my ticker keeps me from doing some of the things I like to do, but I Have a beautiful wife, three great Children with,good spouses and seven fantastic Grandchildren. I have a 19-year-old Grandson who is not embarrassed to call me wo-wo instead of Grandpa. He was our first grandchild and called me wo-wo before he could say much more than ma-ma and da-da. I have a lovely house (paid for),a good running car, a Golf Cart (we can ride the Golf Carts around town to shop etc:). I am not rich in dollars but have enough to pay our bills, take vacation trips and buy almost anything we want. That does not sound like a guy that should feel sorry for himself. I should be grateful and joyous. Deck the halls and Joy to the World!!! :santa: :rendeer:

Fred,You are so right. There are so many less fortunate than us.Even though a lot of lost people this year we still have family left that we must enjoy while we have them.

I will miss my Marie, Mikes pain in the ass Mo Lee and my kids Papa Joe but I have so many others to be thankful for. Sooooo i am going to enjoy every minute.

That's what I love about this site....there is always inspiration here. Warren and Fred.....you couldn't be more right. Thank you for always putting things into perspective for us. This time of year is bittersweet but we need to do our best for our family just like our parents did for us.

Today I'm going to start baking cookies and hopefully by tomorrow I'll get to my struffoli.

My Dental mystery continues.....after 2 gum surgeries and 1 tooth extraction they still don't know where the infection is coming from. I have to see a third specialist about this....it's so frustrating!!!!

Home with Mia still coughing like me. everyone is sick. Hope they get better or else Mike,Jonathan and I will be eating fish for the next year. Mike made the fish salad last night because he is working Christmas Eve until 6 pm.

The doctor decided to take an ex-ray of her chest and accidentally found a mas on her thyroid. Very large. Please pray for her. Has to be operated asap and hoping the results are good. Sooooo this is why we must enjoy what we have for now because we just do not know from on minute to the next.

Busy Day.

Warren, Anthony and Fred - yes we have tons to be thankful for. Family, good friends, a warm coat to wear and a warmer place to live, health and each other. It's the little things that mean the most.

I start vacation tomorrow and will be busy cooking/baking and eating (Yay!!) so I won't be around till next week so I want to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Healthy, Happy and Successful New Year! May the coming year bring each of us peace, joy and tranquility.
