Shipping place on fifth ave?
Hi there, there is a shipping center on fifth ave around 19th street or something - is this place legit? do they charge extra -? like more than the PO? I just want to send something basic - a package but Im new to the area and dont know much about them- I've only ever used the respective shipping companies themselves -

All shipping stores (including those that are "authorized" for a given carrier) charge a premium over what the carriers themselves charge. Typically, it's around 10%, though they won't tell you (and generally the folks working the counter don't know).
Weigh and measure the package and enter the results into the shipping calculators on the carriers' web sites (USPS/UPS/Fedex/etc) to get an idea of what it should cost. Then you can visit the shipping retailer and see what their charges look like to get an idea of whether it's worth it to not make the trek.
There's an actual FedEx center on Court Street if you want to save a couple of bucks.
