If there's ever an award for the most non sequitor post, I nominate this one.
-
Welcome to the politics board.
....if you wait long enough, you find we often talk to ourselves and flail our hands.
then we silently wonder why the female posters rarely post in politics.
-
Where's the beef?
-
this is politics?
-
You have to ask the OP that.
Armchair?
-
I'd rather not know. Without any context to go on, and with no clue as to what this was in reference to, this post made me laugh for about 5 minutes without stopping. I haven't laughed so long in years.
Left alone with only the reader to ponder its meaning makes the post sublime in its utter randomness.
-
Theoretically, it's the "Brooklyn Politics" board.
-
You mean it's not the "today on Jerry Springer" board?
-
+1 for DH
This thread is full of win!
-
Actually I meant the "Today on Jerry Springer" *thread.* Or maybe Maury Povich Live from Sunset Park.
-
All the photos on this link were excellent, so I couldn't decide which to post.
-
I couldn't find the Chinese mom, but I think I found armchair in the audience:

-
Please make AW's custom title "Jerry Springer"
-
And next on Maury

(I think this is what AW was talking about)
-
Ah, now I see.
In that case, if they ever have an award for the most non sequitor Wall Street Journal article, I nominate that one.
-
yeah the wsj one
.lady's stay in the girl section of brooklynian
come on the political side is most guys with nothing better to do lol. -
her claiming this is like obama's mom claiming teaching him the white way etc... so wrong!!!
-
"come on the political side is most guys with nothing better to do lol." -armchair warrior
Sad statement. It might help the "politics" section to be less non-sequitor (and more interesting) if it was truly set up to talk about politics in Brooklyn.
-
Sounds good. Are you ready to post a Brooklyn Politics topic to get it started?
-
ideally it would be great for just brooklyn politics but ideal things don't really exist. it would be doa lol.
-
Personally I think that the mandate for a different kind of "politics" section at the Brooklynian needs to come from above. But in the interest of community, I posted something that's locally relevant. Guess we'll see if armchair's right, and it's just DOA.
Howdy, Stranger!
