Qi Gong Workshop at Force and Flow
Qi Gong= the skill of attracting vital energy.
Qigong is a key element used in Chinese medicine for overall physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. It is the foundation for martial arts and Tai Chi. Soaring Crane Qi Gong is an exercise system consisting of slow movements accompanied by visualizations - moving meditations.
Soaring Crane Qigong is the practice of moving mediations that develops the awareness and cultivation of personal energy, Qi. The Qi is moved to open channels of the body for physical as well as mental well being. There are many forms of Qigong that have been practiced for thousands of years and are an integral part of Chinese Medicine and the foundation to martial arts. Qigong increases flexibility, decreases tension and lends to mental clarity, creativity, and intuition.
"With practice the qi comes quickly to cleanse the channels and strengthen the body's immune system. Soaring Crane Qigong offers benefits beyond an improvement in health, there may also be an increase in mental clarity, creativity and intuition."- Professor Chen, Soaring Crane Qi Gong master teacher.

Erin Ellen Kelly is a dancer that has been practicing various forms of Qigong for the past 10 years under Hiroko Ishimura, Professor Chen, and Claire Cunneen. She was certified to teach Soaring Crane Qigong in September 2004. Her understanding of the energetic body is enhanced by the practice of Traditional Reiki Healing. She has spent a period time in South East Asia studying massage techniques and the role of spirituality in everyday life. Erin is very excited to work with individuals that are interested in the wealth of knowledge that can be discovered through the exploration of the physical and energetic body.
