The Vanderbilt now offers growlers
still a bit pricey, tho, at $18.
i think brooklyn beer distributor on washington and dean sells most of their growlers for less.

How old are the kegs at BB&S though? Do they go through them fast enough so they're not stale? A lot of their beer is years old.

from what i've seen, they've got a lot of turnover...ppl are coming in all the time.
i doubt that they have old beer. they seem like they do a great business.

just checked.
growlers at brooklyn beer dist. are all between 10 and 20 bucks for 64 ozs, with the majority between 12 and 17.
so they definitely have the edge in price and selection.
