The boys are practically finished painting. Had to do 2 coats because the walls were not painted in so many years. Mike picked out the colors and it looks nice.

The weather is beautiful. Not beach weather. Just nice. I finally got my guts up and drove to the mall yesterday with Mike's truck. So now Rosa and I will be shopping, shopping, shopping.

Gong to Cousin Ronni Ramasanto's tonight for dinner and maybe we will get to see Gloria LaRosa and Tommy and Angelo Leone. (Jerry LaGregca and Jeanette know them)

I want to thank you for your thoughts,condolences,and prayers for the loss of my sister Annamarie. Special thanks to Janet, Terry, Patsy, Judy & Bobby, Mildred, Suzie,Carol,and Marge.

Okay....Warmer in NY/NJ, warmer if Florida (I arranged that for Terry's visit). Now we all will have to find something else to complain about. How about the Cost Of Living stats the Government puts out. I want to find the food store they shop in. Prices here have sky rocketed. Bananas have gone up about 50%. They are a mainstay for anyone with any kind of high blood pressure because of the Potassium content. Bread is so ridiculously up in the past year I do not know if the prisons can keep the convicts on bread & water. Sea food & beef (Florida is the second largest beef producer in the country)have gone way up and Pasta has almost doubled in price unless you have a coupon & catch a loss leader sale. Remember the old saying "let them eat cake." Price a cake nowadays. Retired people got NO Cost of Living increase two consecutive years because the government says prices did not increase. Hell, even beer has gone way up. :roll:

Hi Guys, I want to apologize because I kind of promised Anthony that I would only post positive stuff from now on but I'm having a rough day today. Today is mom's first birthday in heaven and this coming Monday will be one year since she passed, on dad"s birthday. It seems like my brothers and sister and I are avoiding talking today for fear of the emotions. Sorry again, but I just needed to acknowledge my mom. I love & miss you mom.

Danny - hang in there - the 1st of everything is the hardest. I'd like to tell you that it goes away - it doesn't but it does get better.

Warren - the prices of everything have skyrocketed. I used to be a snob and eat only certain brands of whatever. Now, I buy whatever is on sale. Check the web for coupon sites to help cut costs more.

Terry, Debbie, Judy, Patsy, Anthony - to any one I missed - hi! hope your day been a good one. (Lot's of tension here at work - budgets are finalized and now they let go of people who aren't producing - no one is safe - OY). I'm gonna hide under my desk so they forget about me :-)!
