Looking for General Care Doctors in 11215 Area

Can anyone recommend a good general care doctor in Park Slope (that accepts Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield)? Do you know local quacks potential patients should avoid? Thanks for any information you can offer.

I like Dr. Arnold Berlin. His office is on 1st Street (I think); I think the name of the practice is Bay Park Medical. Very nice guy and will take the time to talk to you. He won't prescribe antibiotics, or anything really, unless he thinks you really need it. I don't know what insurance he takes but I've been going to him for ten years with at least three different insurance plans, with no problems.

I highly recommend internist Tuvana Bain, who has an office in Bklyn Heights. Smart, nice and spends a lot of time with you.

I use Dr. Michelle Soto at Lutheran Family Health Center on 13th between 4th and 5th. really like her but the waiting time (even with an appintment) can be bad - always try for a first thing in the morning slot.
