    Back from weight watchers lost 2lbs. Pretty good for being away and cheating a little....Got about 10 lbs to go. this was one of my chubbiest winters. lol Who cares /......As long as we are healthy and not obese.....Got to enjoy life....

    Okay, I will have to stop crying about the weather. This afternoon it is beautiful. These cold days sneak in every once in a while and you think you are back into winter.

    Terry, I gain two pounds just by passing certain counters in the supermarket and inhaling!!!It goes on a hell of a lot faster then it comes off. Congrats on progress!!! [-(

    By the way. In regards to the statement "A WOMENSwork is never done. So far today I went out in the driveway & got the papers, unwrapped them & put them on the breakfast table. Collected and put out the Garbage, Made breakfast-Coffee, Tea, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice for Carol (Tropicana for me)& Pancakes & fruit for both of us... Then I cleaned the bathroom-Bathtub, Toilet (inside & Out), Mirrors & Sink. Then I made the bed, got dressed and this afternoon I drove Carol to WalMart where we spent $83 on next to nothing. A mans work is never done.... :roll:

    VERY FUNNY WARREN...... Got me on my post. I guess your work is never done. What a good husband.

    It must be our month for everything going. Now my house on bay 10th which I finally rented after so many long months had a problem. Must be our month for water...the hot water tank broke and flooded my basement and Mike had to go get a new one and have it installed.

    Poor Mike. He was going to paint the apartment for the new tenant and when he got there he found a mess.

    I could have bought a car with all the money we spent just fixing water problems and the air conditioner in my new condo..Oh and as Mike was going to get the boiler in the other house fixed his car broke down last week...Geezzzzzzz...We might need an exorcism soon... lol

    Better material things Thank God than doctor bills.

    One good thing about retirement. Unless you have a Doctors appointment, or a Lab Test, or a Dental Appointment, Monday is just another day like Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday etc:

    Patsy I'm making my corned beef and cabbage thursday. I'll make some irish soda bread too. Kevin and the kids with be marching in the parade with the sanitation departments Emerald Society. Going to have to set up the dvr to record just in case they are on....

    Hi-got dark after 7 tonight..I love it..MaryAnnL & Patsy-my chicken came out delicious..On a new kick to save money-I'm cooking on the weekends & bringing everything to work for lunch..and it's working..haven't made this dish in years..it came out so good...corn beef & cabbage sounds good to me right now..LOL.. I might have to start going to Weight Watchers also-haven't cooked this way in years...anyway, enjoy "The Bachelor" tonite..I'm looking forward to A.I. on Wednesday..talk to u soon..good night...
