with no one on.... but I cant sleep!

I had to make that hard decision yesterday on putting

my Rocky to sleep after having him for 18 yrs....what

a horrible feeling it is...

I really dont want to put sad news on here ...but, I

My sister also started a full-time job ....so Ive been trying to get to Bklyn as much as I can to help my

Suzie - sorry to hear about Rocky. Wow 18 yrs. - he had a great life w/you.

Terry - Diana Ross was on Oprah a few weeks back - she looks great and can still sing. She was on w/her 4 or 5 kids and her grandson. Look at Tina Turner - I've never looked that good! I never saw her but heard she puts on a good show. So does Cher - I've seen her 3x and all good all the time.

Judy - hope you're feeling better. wish Bobby a happy birthday! Maryann hope your daughter is better too.

Feel alittle better today, back of my leg still hurts, feel like I am sitting on a balloon. And to top it off I had to go to the dentist last night to get my crown, for some reason it did not feel right, so after an hour of trying to make it fit, he just put temporary cement and said to wear it for a week and see how it feels...It feels pretty good today, could it be that I was in so much pain that even my teeth hurt last night...LOL LOL

Suzie - Sorry about Rocky, so sad you had him for so long...Hope everything is going ok at home....talk to you soon.

I think right after my grandchild is born on the 18th of April I will start working on the reunion. Usually we have it around the 25th of September. When are you leaving???

Suzy- Condolences on the passing of your Rocky. I can feel the loss for you as I did when we had to put our Ralph to sleep after 13 years of affection, caring and companionship. At first, when I had to sign the papers at the VET I felt like I was letting him down. But the Vet had kept him overnight and tried everything he knew and there was no improvement. It was time for him to leave us. It made sense to me after awhile but the first few days I found myself, a grown macho (at least I thought so) man weeping for part of each day. Then it sunk in. We had been given a gift and we cared for him as best as anyone could. Regular visits to the VET, shots, heartworm pills, you name it. We also, our whole family, showered him with affection and gratitude. All my memories now are good. Oh sure, I remember a few times he exhausted my patience. (like the time he peed on me in the parking lot when I slipped and fell) But 99% of the memories are good and we are grateful we had him as long as we did. Concentrate on the good memories with Rocky and know, not just think, that you did the right thing for him at the end. Love & sympathy. Old Goat :?
