Hey, neighbors.

A 12-year-old had to get stitches after being hit in the head by debris from a crumbling ceiling at the Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum subway stop on Saturday.

Prospect Heights Patch has a story up about it (which I wrote): http://patch.com/A-gRM2.

  • They should sue the stupid MTA 'til their very last penny. MTA sucks. 104$ a Metrocard and we can´t even be safe...AGRRRRR... I hope the kids are ok.

    Thanks for sharing, Andrea.

  • The wall in the Nostrand Avenue station had water pouring down it yesterday when it rained. I mentioned to my kids that it was possible that the whole thing could come down.

I'm not surprised this happened, only surprised at the location since I thought that the MTA redid that station less than five years ago.

If they do that, your Metrocard will cost even more.
