Crazy Guy on 16th bet 3rd and 4th

I live on this block and this crazy dude screams out his window onto 16th st. Anyone know the story on him or how to get him to shut up?

It's annoying and when he's not screaming onto 16th he's screaming into the yard.

And when he's not there he stands across the street from the Taco Bell and stares into space.

Anyone know anything?

i used to live in that building. he lived right under us when i was there. he is actually the owner, he inherited the building from his parents, but his cousin acts as his proxy for all of the business stuff now. he's schizophrenic. he's o.k. when he takes his medication correctly, but he lives alone, and i don't think he's very diligent about his treatment.

UPDATE!!!

The crazy guy started to yell at me in person in the yard and then attempted to attack me with a broomstick.

I called the cops and they didn't do shit.

The guy always screamed about his gun, so I took him for his word. Left that night and only came back to move out all our shit, never slept there again. Moved out west.

do your self a favor and stay away from this guy. I'm just waiting to see on gothamist that he murdered someone.
