Outdoor fitness equipment in PH/CH?

Hello all, moving to area and was wondering if anyone could point me toward a park with outdoor fitness equipment. pull-up bars/dip bars, a running track, etc... any help will be much appreciated. thanks!

There aren't really any parks in PH/CH with outdoor adult fitness equipment and none with fitness equipment and a track. Many folks make due using the kids playground equipment at various local playgrounds. Depending on your location, Prospect Park would probably be your best bet as you can run the park and use various playground areas for your other workouts. Other options are the track at Fulton and Clermont or Mt Prospect Park (EP and Underhill) which has a small (less than 1/4 mile loop).

In Prospect Park there is adult outdoor fitness equipment just inside the 9th street entrance on the right. The running loop around the park is 3.2 miles.

thanks for the info everyone. used the equipment by the 9th street entrance. it's about 2 miles from my place but it provides a pretty good run before and after.

There is a freestanding pull-up bar and maybe just a couple other things like that near the Vanderbilt Street entrance on the southwest side of the Park, too. Near lat/long 40.65456, -73.97246

I didn't know about the ones near 9th Street. That's great. I'm going to have to compare. Much cheaper than the gym.
