Cinco de Mayo party at St. Joseph's on Pacific

Saturday, 2 to 8 p.m. in the field to the right of the church when facing it.

They'll have a mariachi band and a jazz band, I hear.

$20 all you can eat (and soft drinks, I think). Not sure whether alcohol is included, but I did hear they'll be making margaritas for $3. And there will be beer, and probably mojitos.

One of the priests of the parish is Mexican, and has some friends who cook in several good area restaurants. The parish had a reception this past weekend that was catered by this crew, and the food rocked.
