These sound systems are actually illegal to use in your back yard.

Maybe you were kept up till 4 am last night?

If you want to address this quality of life issue as well as more important issues such as safety etc.,

Consider attending a public meeting with the 77th precinct on Monday June 12 @ 7:30pm.

I believe the location is St. Teresa, Sterling Place at Classon Avenue.

    Backyard? People have yards here?

    My complaint is the idiots in their cars leaving the door wide open while they pollute with their obnoxious music.

    I will be at the police meeting for sure this week. Curious to see how how many people show up and how it all goes down

    For those who live in CH South and PLG your precinct is the 71st and their meetings are as follows:

    The 71 Precinct Community Council meetings are held every third Thursday of each month at MS 61, located at 400 Empire Boulevard at 7:30 p.m.

    If you don't speak up they don't know what quality of life issues to address.

    Don't be surprised if not many people show up.

    You must raise the issue with the police face to face to get their attention.

    Spread the word.More people more attention. Also keep calling 311. They log the calls in the system and the numbers show up somewhere.

    Wow I am heartened to know that they are illegal. I know I will try to show up at my community board and complain. I live in Sunset ppark, and people have these things in hanging outside of their apartment windows and in their parked cars whilst they hang out in front of buildings. I especially hate that they feel that "Oh its Friday you can sleep in tomorrow on Saturday". It's like what if you came home tired, and all you want to do is sleep right there and then.
