I agree that what I was pointing out was pretty obvious to the initiated and those of (at least) moderate intelligence, but thought that I should clarify based upon you completely mangling the point. So, to don my Captain Obvious hat once more, in addition to being an asshole, your intelligence level puts you on just this side of needing an assisted breathing apparatus.

This thread is really going places! I didn't know how to get information after an arrest is made because frankly I don't usually get into this sort of trouble. I can't believe I am saying this, but thank you Whynot and others for answering my questions on where to get info. I posted on my nabe's message board to get information for my nabe.

Um.. no. She specifically asked how long he would rot in the tank. Then went on to ask how long before he would be getting out.
Also, I didn't bring up the ex-boyfriend stuff... Scarlett was the first person to mention that he was, in fact, an ex boyfriend.

I'm with Dance Rehearsal: I don't think this thread is a legitimate use of this board, but I need to know the guy's name nonetheless, also the details of the incident. Although I think Scarlett would be wrong for telling me. Also, if he's an ex-boyfriend, Scarlett is just overreacting but nonetheless, what happened to her is terrible. And I can't believe she wants her aggressor to be in prison! But I am definitely AGAINST bad things happening to people, just not asking for help on how to navigate the system on a neighborhood message board. Because someone might know him, even though she won't name him even though I want her to to prove that this is the same guy who attacked other people, which I want it to be, even though the people familiar with the case insist it's not. Am I right or am I right?

This is not the place to tell a half story about a serious incident with major personal, criminal, professional, and public implications for the people involved.
This post has spiraled into a pit of inaccuracy (and yes I helped it along)
There has got to be a better place to get the information she needs.... a place call, oh, I don't know, anywhere else.
