HELP!! PETA/ AR members are requested to for a future protest of Horse Carriages

The below video pretty much sums up why we need to unite and take the fight to the greedy horse carriage owners of the city. These horses are forced into manual labor hauling around these pompous tourists for long drawn out hours on end in excessively hot/cold days. This is unacceptable and no animal should be treated in such a manner.

We need you help in the coming weeks where upon a large protest will be held. I will update the forum about the when and where but for now we need to spread the message and make others aware of what is going on with these horse carriage owners and how they treat these creatures.

MOD NOTE: This has zero to do with Slope, moved to Brooklyn and beyond.

  • Why, those horses are out in a total whiteout! When was this snowfall? I can't see a thing!

Fun fact: all horses do is manual labor - very few of them hold desk jobs.

You should contact a PETA/AR Member to get your not-brooklyn-related clip to function.

  • oneoneone,

I hear what you are saying about horses not having desk jobs, but in reality, the horses don't even do manual labor.

It seems only humans (and perhaps varieties of gorillas with oppose-able thumbs) can do manual labor because the word "manual" comes from the latin word for "hand"

I don't think the PETA folks will be interested in helping humans.

P.S. The reason you can't see the horses in the snow is that they are brought inside in inclement weather.

  • PETA representing!!

almost everyone are peta members here on the boards.

    People eating tasty animals.

  • Sweet Jesus, you mean to tell me those carriage owners have fitted their horses with hands? So they can hold a paintbrush or dribble a basketball like humans can? Consider my mind now fully blown.

  • As shown in this graphic, some horses may not only have hands, but also be able to ride bikes:

However, I suspect this may not be the case.

  • I cant get the damn link to work.....Dammit!

do a search on google for Horse takes a tumble in central park. Do a video search and you will find it.

    If you can post it.

    many thanks

  • if you posted a link of where you getting it from lol people might be able to help. right now its just a blank spot on the page.

  • AW, this is the same person that posted the dead cat pics. I dare to say, some may not want to help out.

  • yeah i know, but we got all sorts of peoples on this board from peta members to people eating tasty animals. its all good. if everyone agree than we won't have too much discussions. things like this makes things more interesting.

  • I am vacationing in Italy, where horse meat is sold in supermarkets and in restaurants. Last night one of my travel companions had a horse steak... I think mainly to gross out the rest of us.

Donkey was also available on the menu. I keep hearing Eddie Murphy's voice expressing outrage...

And, with that, this thread is closed!
