BANSKY — Brooklynian

BANSKY

edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
The graffiti at the Q stop is the work of the well-known London-based artist Bansky. Whatever your views on graffiti might be, you can check out more of his work and his manifesto at www.bansky.co.uk. He was in Brooklyn recently; he did a much larger piece in Williamsburg.

    That link is dead.
  • wait. am I missing something? the only new grafitti I've seen on that station is a stupid looking tag that took all of 10 seconds and was either in black or navy blue. DUMB.

if this is the best bansky can do, he needs a new counter-culture career.

okay, he is NOT the person responsible for the heinous tag

and he shouldn't give up his day job. I vote he do some grafitti of two NYPD officers making out in the Q station. get to work, buddy.
  • Subject: BANKSY not BANSKY

  • Sorry for the confusion. I grabbed a banksy graffiti shot from Flickr to illustrate the current post about this on dailyheights.com. The current graffiti at the Q stop is NOT banksy...
