My first thought was that my building was being worked on by shoddy contractors. That was disconcerting. I turned the tv on and didn't see anything so I called my super first. Then I grabbed for the my dog and we both went outside. I don't know if it was my tone of voice, but my dog sure came to me quick when I called and he hauled ass down the stairs to the outside.

Wow. Felt it on Wall Street. Had a minor flashback and anxiety attack as we evacuated the building and came straight home. Very sporadic cell service but text and Internet were working fine.
-
Felt it in Union Square as I was preparing for a meeting to be held in the building next door. Went downstairs then up to my meeting. Folks in the conference room were like "What earthquake"? Everyone put their heads down and went back to work. Very anticlimatic...
