Not sure but having grown up a block away I remember the basements flooded often. So if you have anything of value, I say put it up high

Bergen between Hoyt and Bond here..is Gowanus mandatory evacuation? You're on the line between Zone B and Zone C.
(Zone A is the mandatory evacuation area.)I love this map because you can enter an address instead of hunting around:

I cannot BELIEVE that this woman I barely know and her DOG are staying in my tiny apartment while her husband guards over their Gowanus house...if he's there, why can't she be there? Am I a terrible person (yes) or is this presumptous...are any other zone a people actually evacuating?

Ridiculous. My houseguest said at around 9PM, "Gee, maybe it's not gonna be so bad after all." She left 12 hours later....arrrrggghhhhh!!!!!
Howdy, Stranger!
