Event Space wanted asap!

I am currently seeking an event space to hold 50-75 people, it would be for a birthday party however there is no need for any type of liquor or waitress services as I would provide that. I would prefer a loft type of space to a restaurant, however I am flexible as long as its private! I am also open to more neighborhoods than just Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick.

    Have you tried a local church? Sometimes they have a social hall type of room that they rent out. You may be required to put up a security deposit against damage.

    Thats a good idea...however I would have to find one that allows loud music and liquor late at night, dont know how many of those there are.

    This ad was on Brooklynian recently. You can read the details to see if it might work for you but I do remember it said something about being available for events.

    In Park Slope the church on 6th Ave at 8th St has a gym and I thin another room that I've seen rented out for all kinds of parties, might be worth checking.

    Try Restoration Plaza on Fulton Street in Bed-Stuy. They have a couple of rooms that they rent out for events and I believe that you can do both music and liquor as well.
