downey ball?

My new place has traditional top loading washing machines. How do I add the fabric softener? Do they still make downey balls?

I have checked and not found any in dollar stores or drug stores

I thought that most top loaders had the trap that goes over the center agitator which both catches lint and has a place to put fabric softener. The other option is to pour the softner in manually at the beginning of the rinse cycle.

Or you can buy the Downy Ball online

They sell the Downy ball at C-Town on 9th, it's a buck or two.

(Homeowner, sadly these machines don't have that feature)
