apt posting earlier

I have seen that 44 people have looked at the apt. posting I made a few days ago. Is no one responding b/c there just aren't any apartments or b/c this is the wrong place to post such a request????

Best place to check for things like this is Craigslist - they have tons of new listings every day, organized by fee, no fee, broker, no broker, etc.

People on this board will do their best to help you, but speaking for myself, I'm not in the market and haven't heard anything in passing. When something does become available, it's likely to go pretty fast.

Which posting was yours? The only one I spotted, scrolling down, was one asking if anyone knew about any available apartments (posted by someone called franny--was that you?).

The thing is, nearly everyone posting on these boards already lives in PH (or one of the nearby neighborhoods) so for the most part we're not experts on current housing stock. If you're interested in finding out what certain parts of the neighborhood are like, we'll talk your ear off, but if no one responded to your post, it's probably because we just don't know about anything at the moment.

I'm sure there are apartments--Craigslist is probably your best bet.

Yep - that was me (the posting by Franny). Although I'm new to these lists so when I type in my username it doesn't let me post. ANYWAY, thank you all for the replies. I've looked on craigslist - just keep us in your thoughts if anywhere hears of anything. Thank you.,

I, for one, didn't post about the apartment in our building because they don't allow pets...we have an illegal cat, but dogs are virtually impossible to get away with. We had a friend stay one night with his dog and of course got questioned about it.
