  • This is awesome! However, there are several PH restaurants (Franny's, Yummy Taco, Sushi Tatsu) that are listed as being in Park Slope. They clearly don't get the Flatbush dividing line thing.

And in the greatest outrage, they list Carneviento as being in Park Slope!

at least Time Out comprehends "cheap eats" - New York magazine cited Lupa, Franny's and Beast as "cheap eats". hilarious.

Am I totally blind? I didn't see Carneviento (or Gran Castillo de Jagua) listed anywhere in that link.

  • Subject: Wow. Menutopia really is great!

What a cool website. It's really useful. Do you know if you can order online in Brooklyn or just in Manhattan?
  • how come on the brooklyn section only shows brooklyn heights and dumbo :x :x :x :x :x
  • Subject: Menutopia in Brooklyn

Wow, I didn't realize that there would be such a demand for Menutopia in PH. I'm really excited to see it though!

We here at Menutopia are getting ready to launch the Brooklyn version of Menutopia soon (the fact that it was showing up already was a little glitch) and I want to make sure it's as useful as possible...so I wanted to pose a question to the board:

What are the geographic boundaries for Prospect Heights?

We don't want Park Slope to get credit for all of your great restaurants!

    Thanks,
    Dan

this should produce a plethora of responses :)

    here's my opinion:

    atlantic to the north
    eastern pkwy to the south
    washington to the east
    flatbush to the west

    I second.

Shouln't even need the "my opinion caveat" - those are the borders.
  • Those are the borders. But the brokers keep trying to change wikipedia to extend it to Classon, Franklin and even BEDFORD!
I change it back about once a week!

exactly... i'm assuming those who have some sort of financial interest in extending the borders into other neighborhoods to fool unsuspecting future tenants would have a different opinion.
  • Good luck at keepin' it real - I mean , my gawd, look at what the brokers have done re PS - I mean "south slope" - is that a joke or what. I had someone who lives on 21st and 3rd tell me that she "just moved into Park Slope." It makes me crazy!
  • Subject: great!

Those are now the official boundaries in Menutopia's definition of Prospect Heights. I'll keep the board posted about our imminent Brooklyn launch.

    Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the link. It's cool to see a site like that focused on our nabe.
However, several of the restaurants listed on that site are closed. And the menus are out of date.
I think the menutopia site is more useful overall.
