Good news for you, armchair.
The DUMBO part of Brooklyn Bridge Park is now closed until next summer and when it reopens in the spring it will no longer be open to dogs.

If you get on the ball now and rally support for your cause here there's still plenty of time to extend the ban to kids.

Sun City Arizona bans kids.

Whoa, that Sun City looks way worse than where my grandmother lived in Arizona.
-
I dunno - my dogs never took my car, never drove home drunk, hung around malls and spent money on useless crap, never had to wait up and worry about when they were getting home (well I did but the critters were neutered). But one of the kids did bite their kindergarten teacher. Unconditional love vs. I hate because (fill in the blank for whatever teen-age angst reason du jour). The dog never wanted to go away to college either.

Did the teacher deserve it?

it comes down to whatever specimen is better trained. A poorly trained child can be just as obnoxious as a poorly trained dog. However, of course all the parents think their kids are really adorable, otherwise parents would be committing infanticide left, right, and center. The way babies can just cry and cry..... Even you would have been in trouble if your parents didn't have a biological imperative to want to keep you alive.

A poorly trained child is, in my opinion, far worse than a poorly trained canine. That poorly trained child will most-likely grow up to be an entitled, @sshole adult. And, because karma doesn't work, will also be in a position of authority. The poorly trained dog will always just be a dog.
12 years in the cube wasteland and counting. I have a feeling that many of my co-workers, in particular the management staff, were poorly trained children. Certainly most politicians, local or Federal... hmm. Who else can we pick on?

To my knowledge, poorly trained dogs do not grow up to pass stupid social or fiscal policies.

Ha, bet he's thinkin' "now where's that damn mouse..."

When I am not around, he logs on to my account and posts stupid crap. Then, when I come back home, quickly sits under the desk and tries to act like it wasn't him.
...just look at his expression! He thinks he is slick and smarter than me.

So how do we tell which of your posts were made by you, and how many were made by the pooch?
-
Booklaw-
I clearly stated above that stupid crap is posted by the pooch. From the nature of my posts, you can see the dog posts somewhat often.
When (and if...) brilliant things are posted by the whynot_31 account, they are from me.

Yes, poorly trained children grow up to be entitled jackwagons. But until you have to listen to the neighborhood alley dog barking for hours on end I refuse to accept the idea that ill-trained dogs are so fine.
I also recently witnessed a little dog running away from his owners to poop further down the street. Turns out the humans were walking the dog off leash on purpose and of course, didn't pick up after their dog.
I guess it comes down to whatever human adults are responsible to either children/dogs.

I think it is safe to blame poorly raised people for creating poorly raised children AND dogs.
Afterall, not many children are raised by dogs.
