I need a necklace re-strung. Any recs on a place that can do this for me cheap? or a place I can buy the beading supplies?

  • 7th ave art supplies on 7th btwn 11th and 12th has some beading supplies. They have a tiny selection but they might have what you need. Otherwise a good place in the city is Toho Shoji 990 6th ave near Herald Sq.

  • hi Mamacita - I can probably do it for you. I make jewelry, so have the materials and tools needed....if you want to send me a photo or detailed description, or bring it by, I can tell you how much it would be. PM me and I'll send you my email address.

  • I've seen a shop on Smith street that specializes in Beads: http://brooklynbeadbox.com/. I know nothing of beads but I'm guessing they might have what you need.

  • many beads on a string karl has

but freely they do not slip

    over the cross
