My fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha, is hosting our annual Project Homeless food drive. Thursday, November 24, 2011, 10am-1pm. We'll be stationed right across the street from a homeless shelter, next to the Port Authority in Manhattan, 41st Street and 9th Avenue. Asking volunteers to serve food AND, if you can, bring a hot pan of food with a serving spoon, or sandwiches, drinks, pastries, take-away containers, disposable plates, cups, napkins, and utensils, and sternos, wire-frames, aluminum trays and foil, and lighters/matches.
