Sleepless in Park Slope - HELP

This is a most ridiculous saga. My bed is so screwed that I actually don't sleep at night at all anymore. I ordered a new bed from Trade Winds on Fifth Avenue back on July 1st and was told it would arrive the following week. I still don't have it. Now, apparently it is finally in at Trade Winds' warehouse BUT I do not know what to do with the bed I already have. I don't have a car.

Is there anywhere in the neighborhood I can dump this piece of shite? I know that you can put crap out on the block on certain days but this bed is way too big for that.

Please help

I can't get the new bed until I get rid of the piece of junk I currently have because there is not room for both. Eek.
