Hello Brooklynians..

I'm a web developer/music producer looking for a space that can double as an office as well as a music production space. I don't need Abbey Road (well..that'd be nice) but I'm looking for something at least 12 x 10, preferably with a window, and ideally I could make a reasonable amount of noise most/all of the time. I've composed professionally for the History Channel as well as owned a commercial audio facility in the past. If anyone knows of any space like this (storefront, basement, church, above a store, industrial...I'll take a look at everything) please let me know! Thanks very much. -Jon

    budget? Doesn't have a window but i've got a great lead on a space in the East Village.

    otherwise i'd looked for some production spaces in the building on Bergen--maybe St. Marks?--between franklin and classon, next to the abandoned brewery. GREAT spaces, but i think the smallest was 1000 square feet.

    Hey thanks for responding. Budget is around $800/month. 1000 square feet is probably more than I need, but I will check out the building on Bergen or St. Marks. Also if you want to let me know about the space in the Village that would be great...thanks!

    yup was thinking of the heinz building. unfortunately the space in the east village is more like $1600/month, but good luck w/ the heinz building!

    I don't have any leads (sorry!), but I was wondering if you were planning on producing others, or just yourself? Let me know if it's the former -- might be interested depending on the rate!

    Johnny - I am looking to share music production space with others. Needs to be near downtown Brooklyn. If an opportunity comes up would you be interested? I need practice/production time a few times a week, but not professional. However, I have equipment to contribute and am hoping I can find like minded people to split costs.

    guys guys! Sorry I didn't respond! I wasn't notified via email and just haven't been back. Hey Roymond...yes...I am interested in sharing a space. Invisible Lines...I have a budget for gear...but I am waiting until I find a space (which will help dictate where the dollars go!) so I don't have a studio ready to go right now.
