RAPID REALTY ARE DISHONEST

Hi everyone,

I am posting this for my friend. Just wanted apt/house hunters to avoid this situation while we are all struggling to find a nice place to stay. Hope this is helpful for all brooklynites. Happy Holiday and best luck for apt/house hunting!

Quote from my friend:

If there is negative star I will give them minus. They are dishonest.

The broker is friendly, but the deal Processor Taina Crespo is full of crap. We saw an nice apartment and through all the headache to get it. She called us and tell us that she's been able to work something out for us, she can give us lower broker fee and so on....we are so happy so didn't ask her to send us email to confirm this.(in the other words no evidence to prove that she said this to us) That's our fault.

So we sign the contract and paid the fee... guess what she called me back after few days and said that we still owe them 800 dollars, and I asked : aren't you tell me that you be able to work out the lower broker fee for us, and she denied everything. She said she never agree with that and if we can pay from our "personal check" she will give our contract back and everything will be done.

What a span, Iv'e been deal with lot of different brokers even private one and most of them are pretty trust worthy. But the rapid realty and this Taina Crespo just full of trick and lying.

STAY AWAY FROM RAPID REALTY, THEY ARE A BIG LIAR.

  • Put this on Brownstoner. I am sure that you can report them to Better Business Bureau. This is absured.

  • BBB is itself a fraud.

  • So all 50 offices are liars? Or just the one agent?

  • One of my tenants got a job with rapid realty. So I figured I would send some business his way. I told him that I would give him my listings as they become available. When I had a vacant apartment I asked him if he would like the listing. He said that he was going away on vacation and won't be able to show it....however, if I would like he can give it to someone else in the company. I told him that I already have a real estate office I do business with. Then he said "I don't blame you....I would not want to deal with rapid realty either"
