Helium tank
Anybody know where I can buy a small helium tank?
I need one that has pure helium and isn't diluted. I'll probably check Party City at Atlantic mall but I'm guessing the employees don't know much about the product if they have it. I'm willing to go to Manhattan for this but I don't really know where to look.

Party City will have the small helium tank/party balloon kit. I'm not sure if it is pure helium or is diluted. You're right that the staff won't know so take a good look at the box before you purchase if you decide to get it.
If you don't find what you need there, you may want to search for a balloon shop which should either have the larger (5ft) tanks or will be able to tell you where to get it from.

Are you planning to operate a very small blimp?
Why can't it be diluted? (Just curious)

Thanks.
Booklaw, it's for a toy. We got this. For the first use, we took the balloon to a shop to be filled but woud love to be able to just fill it up or do refills at home. The instructions suggested getting an at home tank or I wouldn't have thought about it, but it seems like a great idea.

OQ- I bought the party kit at party city a while ago; it filled about about 40 regular balloons, and come in a tank that resembles a propane grill tank.
Booklaw- I suspect it has something to with this song.

Hmmm...this balloon is really big but I'm guessing that would fill it at least twice (based on some online reading). The booklet with it said to make sure not to use diluted helium or it won't fly.

OQ - I've been wanting to purchase one of those for my father's house for when grandkids visit. (the perfect gift for the man who has everything?) Please post back or PM me after you get it filled to let us know if it works well :-)
fyi - from reviews I've read on-line the balloon kits at Party City should do the trick. -
We've already got the shark and had it filled at a store that fills balloons. It is amazing--maybe the best gift I've given. It's as big as it looks in the photos and works really well but we used it in the part of the house with really high ceilings, which I think is ideal. We used it at our New Year's Eve party and it was a hit. Whynot, what did you think of it?
