28% is like what nothing :P. its like our election system when the other sides vote doesnt count, winner takes all system sucks. who cares right. so the 28% is just a spit in the bucket.
  • do you always post this much, or are you trying to hit 2000 today?
  • are you registered to vote?
(in US elections, not internet polls)
I am, and of course I do.
  • The thing is, I LIKE it when the pet stuff gets posted where people might see it. Otherwise it doesn't do much good. But yeah, maybe we could have a pets area. I still think people should be able to post LOST pets info in neighborhood boards, to make sure people are keeping an eye out.

We *could* put the Pets Classifieds at the top of the list, for high profile.

I agree that the LOST pets should go by neighborhood, and allow multiple board listings for those since four legs move fast . . .

    umm, yeah
    about that
maybe a little too much too fast, ya dig?
    TOOOOOO MUUUUUCH!

All those dozens of new topics you're "farming" get in the way of enjoying the rest of your posts. I like ya and all, but . . .

  • I'm one of the cat posters, but I have mixed feelings about all the cat posts myself. I think often there are too many cat adoption posts on the PH board for cats not found in PH. If there is a PH connection, I think it's pertinent to the neighborhood and many people like to read the stories of local homeless cats. I do think that the non-PH adoptable cats should go either in their own section, or in the general "Brooklyn" section.

Homeless cats are a huge problem in our neighborhood and something a lot of people care about, so I think that specific stories about specifically PH cats have a place on the local board.
  • it seems to me that the cats will do better without a separate section, since all the hordes of people heading over to check out armchair's ad will have their eyes caught by beseechingly adorable subject lines and fall helplessly in love and have to hire armchair to deliver enormous scratching post towers for their new best buddies.

then again, i'd probably check out a kitty porn section on its own merits....

but then againagain, there's no room at my particular inn, so it's just window shopping.
  • I agree with sweet tea. I don't mind having pet posts mixed in with regular posts, and I think it might give the pets an extra chance for an unexpected match.
