$899 Studio Apartment Wanted - Responsible Renter (Brooklyn)
Hello,
I am starting my studio apartment search and am looking for a studio with the following characteristics (and most important requirements):
*Well maintained building/house/brownstone with a responsive and kind super/landlord
*Walking distance to Prospect Park
*Kitchen space is not important - I barely cook and can make due with smaller appliances
*No carpeting
*Must have a full shower and bath tub with excellent water pressure
*Rodent free
*WiFi capable
*Other residents are responsible and treat common areas with respect
Here are the neighborhoods I am open to:
*Crown Heights (West)
*Prospect Heights
*Prospect Lefferts (anywhere adjacent to Prospect Park)
*South Prospect Park
*Park Slope and South Slope
*Windsor Terrace
*Kennsington
*Fort Greene
*Clinton Hill
I have time on my side so I have the ability to take something I love as soon as it comes up or wait until one does. Buildings that have on site washer and dryers will take priority. Size and layout are less important. I have decent credit (between 600-700), stable employment (approximately $60K base per year), and have been responsibly renting for almost 20 years. I am an ideal tenant who would love to find something long term that I can make my home. I keep my living space clean and well maintained. I am open to brokers but obviously like everyone, would rather go no fee. If you have an amazing deal in an amazing location, I will pay a fee. I would say my budget range is $800-$1000 with preference towards the lower end. Working with an owner/landlord would be great. I do not have any pets and am smoke free. I am also open to a sublet (long term) or taking over a lease for someone who needs to get out of theirs. I currently live around Bedford and Eastern so seeing places in my area is quite easy; I work 9 to 5.
Thanks for reading my ad and I look forward to hearing from you.

It reads like you're looking for the unicorn of Brooklyn apartments. Best of luck finding a place in that price range, let alone also living up to all your stipulations AND in one of those neighborhoods?
