    Good Morning-missed DWTS last night but heard Donald won...very disappointed..thought Catherine would win..anyway, Jessica & Steve decided to get a bigger apt. in my complex (they moved into the same apt. that I have-only across the parking lot...LOL)...so I spent 4 hours moving boxes & furniture last night..beautiful day today-80 today & 90 tomorrow..my pool opens up this weekend..can't wait...wish I could attend the reunion this year-once Sept.1 comes-I have to work 6 days a week until Dec. have a nice day everyone.......bye

    Wow, you girls are sure busy little bees. Dinners here, parties there, graduations, Proms!!!!!! I had a NARFE meeting today, does that count? Did my good deed again. Drove a friends widow home from the meeting. He was a great guy and I know that if the tables were reversed he would have done the same for Carol. I remember my High School prom. Unfortuneatly I got drunk as a skunk in the Copacabana after the prom at the Hotel St George. At the Copa I met Dean Martin and he was in worse shape then me. Also met the DeMarco sisters there. Funny thing is when Dean & Jerry got up to do their show they did not miss a beat. I took a girl from my graduation class name Efthalia Economos. She was a swell gal and I was embaressed that I made a fool of myself. I was only 17 so I guess that is a damn fool acting age. We had a limo early and took a cab home so there was no driving by the grads. Carol's prom was at the Waldorf Astoria and I behaved like a complete gentleman.

    Bunny is so so. She has her days. Not doing that great. I think they will sell their house and move into Debs apartment downstairs. Nice big apartment.

    Her brother in law Ralph passed away. He was married to Marilyn. She was a Brown also but on Bob's side not Bunny's.

    Good Morning.missed DWTS & AI finales this week-finished helping Jessica & Steve move in their apt..but was so disappointed-can't believe Jessica Sanchez lost....hope she gets a recording contract out of this though...93 today-my pool is opening up this weekend..Friday can't come too soon for me...enjoy your day everyone...Jessica has to pick up her marriage license in my building today so we're going to lunch.. talk to u soon.......bye

    Good Evening, Terry, it would not be a bad idea for you to check in with your cousin in St Pete. Terrific thunder storms there this evening. Water running high in the streets. I know that they exaggerate on TV but there is thunder and lightning all around tonight. Thanks for the info on Bunny. I hope she improves.

    Patsy, In 1970 I had already been in and out of the Army, married to Carol and had my three children. Shows you what an Old Goat I am.

    MY DAUGHTER TONIANN HAD A GREAT TIME LAST NIGHT WITH

    HER BOYFRIEND at his prom.. they partied at my house early in the aftenoon with some friends & family members, , than went to another parent's house

    (where the part bus pcked up the 8 couples going together)

    than to the prom itself at the NY ATHLECTIC CLUB BY CENTRAL PARK & THAN TO ANother AFTER PARTY PROM AT ANOTHER CLUB

    FOR TEENS (NO DRINKS SERVED) & THAN CAME HOME AFTER

    5 A.M. THIS MORNING.. SHE HAd A GREAT TIME. SHE LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! I WILL POST PIX WHEN I CAN.

    (TO THINK, GOD WILLING, I WILL DO THIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR FOR HER SENIOR PROM!!

    ANNA..AS SOON AS THEy ANNOUNCED PHIL PHILLIPS TO WIN, I

    Hello, I think I am near the bottom of the page so this post may well be delayed.

    You know, years ago a Holiday weekend with a Monday Holiday was very exciting. An extra day off from work. When you are retired basically every day is a Holiday. We will have a moving tribute on Monday in our Clubhouse. It is put on every year and they will read the names of all who died since last Memorial day. Our Auditorium holds in excess of 800 people seated and every seat and standing room will be used. The colors will be presented and we will sing patriotic songs.I will never forget the Memorial Day parade in Brooklyn down Eastern Pkwy to Grand Army Plaza. It was fantastic. It lasted many hours with all the vets and Veteran Organizations marching along with many, many bands. I can remember vets from the Spanish American War and the Civil war in the parade. Now we are lucky to have WW11 vets who are dying off at a very fast rate. As the saying goes "TIME MARCHES ON" :compress:
