hi there.

i am a reformed dog person entering the world of kittydome.

i am looking for a female kitten in need of a new home. preferrably a kitten who would do best with just me and not another cat. i work from home so i am there quite a bit to care and entertain her.

i live on washington ave in prospect heights.

if you know such a kitten please send me a message. i don't have internet access at home so it may take a day or two to reply.

Unleashed on 7th Avenue in Park Slope has cat adoptions by K9 Kastle every Sunday. I'm sure you'll find the girl for you. Alternatively, every rescue organization and animal shelter will be shortly inundated with kittens. You will find plenty of kittens, either sex, every color of the kitty rainbow available. If you go to a shelter or rescue group, the kitten (I recommend adopting two btw), the kittens will come neutered, microchipped and with their first round of vaccinations.

Go to the Brooklyn AC&C as they are a high kill shelter and euthanize daily. Ask to see the long-term residents (few last more than a few months there) as those are the next up on the kill list. If you dont already have a cat consider adopting a FIV or Feline Leukemia+ kitty as those are almost always killed at the shelter. Neither is contagious to humans, dogs, etc only to other cats.
