I've just been researching a bit for work on average age and gender of people who post on community discussion boards/forums/bulletin boards etc.

Current stats show average age around 35 and 2/3rd's are male.

So what's your age and gender???

I'd make a poll but not sure how

How about . . .
a. under 18
b 18-25
c. 26-35
d. 36-50
e. 51-60
f. over 60

You can create a poll simply by filling out the poll question and options boxes in the bottom of the new topic page.

LTT, click FAQ at the top for how to do a poll.
keep hitting "add option" for your category, including one more time than you might think you have to -- meaning the last time you hit "add option", the field should be blank.

you can't add to a poll after you've started it, so preview and make sure you've got it right....

indeed a sausage fest so far. most message boards i ever visted is mostly male and young.

I've counted seven male and five female, of those who mentioned their sex in responding. So it's not overwhelmingly sausagey, at least not so far.

and on the poll age is skewing heavily to the 26-35 range (60% of respondents - 17 out of 28)
