or USPS consolidation of operations --I know that they are are closing branches nationwide---but getting rid of boxes too???

or was i just in a foggy haze this morning and the mailbox is still there? :shaking2:

    Look on the other side. They were moved to the side near the key food. I could tell this was new as the bolts holding them down are nice and shiny.

    Post office has been getting rid of mailboxes for years and you just noticed? They used to be every two blocks but now they want you to have your letter carrier pick up your mail. Problem with that is...if you don't get mail every day your mail can sit in your box for days and they don't like picking it up anyhow so who knows if it'll ever make it to the post office.

    prag guy -- It did move across the street because of construction... but now it seems to have "moved" again...
