Prospect Expressway construction.
it's keeping me up all night. does anyone know how long this will be going on? the constant "boop boop boop boop" while the trucks are backing up *constantly* is making me want to tear my ears off

I feel your pain. I was also wanting to tear my ears off last night.
I have been logging complaints with 311 but apparently I won't see any response for 14 days... I am having a hard time believing it is ok for that level of noise in a residential area in the middle of the night.
I also contacted Brad Lander's office, although haven't heard back yet.
In short I have no information to give but would love to know when I can get some sleep.

Maybe y'all should put up some posters letting neighbors also annoyed by this how to complain (311, contacting councilmen). It might be harder for them to ignore a deluge of complaints than just 1 or 2.
Or get one of the local evening news shows to come do a story.
