Does Prospect Park recycle?

I remember there being one near the street by Bartel Prichard Sq.

The park does not recycle beyond the cans on the sidewalk near Bartel Lot and the 3-4 blue plastic containers on the ballfields during the summer. Anyone who wishes to recycle whatever they've used at the park must take it out with them, including events and regular visitors. Most events recycle their bottles and haul them away.

DSNY does not manage refuse in the Parks at all - it's all managed by Parks and Recreation. Parks has their own dump trucks and they haul it to a landfill in Queens. Recycling in the park requires lots more $$$ than is available. And considering 3/4 of the budget for Prospect Park is raised through donations to the nonprofit (Prospect Park Alliance) there are no extra funds to cover the infrastructure, staff and vehicles to implement a recycling program.

This goes for most city parks as well, btw.
