Bedbugs Found at Children's Museum, but Experts Say it's Safe to Still Visit
It came out Wednesday that the Brooklyn Children's Museum discovered bedbugs two weeks ago, exterminated, but stayed open.
I was freaked out like most parents I encountered hearing this, but then, while working on an article on it I talked to three experts who all said that it's fine to visit, for several reasons.

There would be no f'ing way I'd visit until they were confirmed bed-bug free. I don't care what the "experts" say. There is at least a two-week "interregnum" between extermination and being declared "bed-bug free."
From what I hear, the prep work for bed-bug extermination and living in that two-week period is, in a word, awful. Why even take the chance? Stay home for a few weeks until the museum is bed-bug free.
