Ugh Losing Cell Phones is the worst

Think I left my Iphone 3GS in an Arecibo car on Saturday. Called them but the driver didn't find anything. So..if anyone finds my phone with a picture of me smooching my wife on the cheek as the home screen...please let me know :D

Seriously...sucks. Thanks for the opportunity to vent

  • Did you enable the remote gps tracking from the me.com site as a loss/theft security feature?

If so you could just log in to me.com and go to the map of your phone's current location.

And then bring a can of whoopass.

  • I didn't because i didn't think mobile me was worth the $99. Guess I was wrong
  • There are a number of great free or very inexpensive anti-theft and recovery apps , at least on the Android market, and would think iOS has the same.

  • I use https://preyproject.com

It costs nothing for the basic tracking functionality for 3 devices.
