HELP AISFORABIGAIL FIND PABLO - LOST DOG
Our beloved small terrier mix was lost yesterday 12/5. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FIND HIM.
Pablo was attacked by a pitbull during off-leash hours in Prospect Park. After struggle, the pit released him, but Pablo was so scared that he fled the park.
We have heard from a few people that he is in the area (Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Prospect Park).
PLEASE HELP HIM COME HOME.
We are crushed.
He knows his name, likes peanut butter as a treat, and if he's out there, he's probably quite freaked out.
If you see him please call us right away.

Poor Pablo. I saw your fliers today while shopping, let's hope he's found soon. I'll keep my eyes peeled for him.

Thanks for posting, everyone. Keep eyes up. And SPREAD THE WORD.
We need this guy back home!

Now that the dog has been found, would the folks mind taking down all the posters in the neighborhood? It may lead to confusion for folks.
-
It wasn't just the owners who put up those signs, it was also their friends and people they barely knew who sympathized with their situation.
...those signs that weren't taken down by last nights storm, can certainly now be ripped down by random pedestrians.
-
Those signs were put up with so much tape that they are almost hard to read and really hard to take down. My friend and I were going to take some down in the park this morning, but you need a knife to get them down because of all the tape, so we removed none.
-
I am curious which method finally resulted in this dog being reunited:
Was it the flyers everywhere?
The posts on websites?
Word of mouth thru the dog community?
I've gotta congradulate them on their ability to alert a large number of people, very quickly that their dog was missing and they loved it and wanted it back.

From Fido:
They found him after two days... A teenager called the 24 Hour Pet Watch phone number on his collar and the owners were notified.
-
So, the media campaign does not deserve any credit!
In that case, we should definately take down the signs. ...they didn't even work!
