9 days until Christmas....

hi everyone,hope everyone is doing o.k me and family are fine.judy i know is not easy being without mom for the 1st xmas,but god opens one door{grandson} and closes another{mom} but you will always have fond memoirs of mom,they can,t take them away from you,try to focus on the good times with mom,just dig deep down. there,s a little place past the heart and right before the soul,yea thats the place judy.you,ll always have the special place for mom,when i,m feeling down over something wheather its a loved one,or something like that,i focus on the special place,and think of the good memoirs,works every time,ok everyone I WILL stop by again before xmas,to wish everyone a merry xmas,and happy new year,and holiday cheer to everyone.and warren i do remember that record store on 12 st and 5th ave.i was in there a couple of times.it was between 12 and 13 st,on the right hand side,if you were walking towards 9 st.ok take care.take one day at a time,and do the best you can.bobby c

Hello All,

Good to see Anthony on here. Sorry he does not enjoy the blog anymore. If it is because of anything I said or did I would step aside because he is an original and he is from the neighborhood most of you grew up in. I was a late bloomer from 12th Street.

This afternoon I have to go to the Cardiology office to have a Holter Monitor put on my decrepit body. I will wear it for 24 hours. My Primary Physician wants to see if any of my symptoms are being caused by problems with the ticker. I also have to see a Doctor to have my Thyroid checked out January 3. The Thyroid is under suspicion since a blood test showed that it is over-active. Does it ever end? Oh yeah, I do not want to discuss how it could end...

Shopping done except for Carol's card, Deorating outside and inside done. In pretty good shape for Christmas. I have to wrap Carol's gifts yet and fill her stocking but that will be done over the weekend. Having Eight friends over tomorrow night for Coffee, Tea and cake & cookies. :santa:

Do you remember a show called the "Backwards Family"? Sometimes I think the whole country (especially Florida) is a part of that family. In one of today's papers an article stated that Florida now leads the nation in concealed weapon permits. ONE MILLION PEOPLE now have concealed weapon permits in Florida. In light of what just happened in Connecticut you would think that Florida would be trying to hide the fact that they lead the nation in that category. When I read of arrests for violent crimes here they usually show the record of the culprit. This is just an example. It is repeated almost every day. A 16 year old boy was indicted for killing a security guard with a gun to rob the security guard of his gun. One was not enough for him. Then they showed the 16 year olds record. He had been arrested 39 times since he was 10 and convicted 22 times. WHAT IS HE DOING ON THE STREET?. The Governor (who now nowbody voted for but he won two years ago) is bragging about a falling jail population. Well if all the felons are walking around free no wonder the jail population is diminished. I know I am in the minority but I think gun laws should be a tough as you can make them. I see no reason why people should get permits for automatic weapons like Uzi's etc:. What do you hunt with an automatic rifle that sprays bullets? Okay. I vented enough. Shut up Warren!! :-#

Hi-1st winter storm going on right now..it was 50 degrees today, now 25..only a couple of inches of snow now but winds at 30 to 40 MPH..very busy in work.went Christmas shopping last weekend & watched Justin overnight..this weekend I have a hair appt, more Christmas shopping & a Christmas party on Sunday..then I'm off work until Thursday..my son is staying with me from Monday to Wednesday..so I will wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you & your families...(& Warren I agree 100% w/you about guns...)
