No hot water? (Sterling btwn Classon and Franklin)

The water is heated in your building, most likely with a gas-fired boiler, so you should be calling your landlord.
-
Happened to me lots of times. Call the landlord ASAP. He/she is the one controlling the boiler in the basement. Good luck!
...if you get no response by tomorrow, call 311

probably the pilot light went out on the water heater. no big deal. its an easy fix for the landlord. Once the water heater is lit again....it will take about an hour for the water to get hot again.
-
yeah, my landlord was unresponsive until later today, so I was wondering if it was possible anyone else was having issues (though thinking about it now, not sure why they would with heat unless the pressure dropped...) Anyway, I have warm-ish water back! It's the little things...

Could be your building's boiler is oversubscribed. If someone leaves the hot water on in another unit (i.e. by running a bath), they can easily use up all of it in a lot of these buildings.
