Bathroom renovators?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good bathroom renovator? I have one estimate so far, but it's a wee bit high and I'd like to get a few more.

Thanks

  • Hm. Some friends of mine who are designers by profession recently renovated a woman's bathroom (from horrible and tiny to large and FANTASTIC). I don't know what they charged or if they'd be interested in doing another one, but I can ask them.
  • thanks for offering. did they just do the design or the renovation work? I can handle the design myself, and i know i can't afford a designer on top of the labor.
  • They did the actual renovation work. I have an e-mail in to them asking if they're still looking for that kind of work. I didn't see the bathroom in person, but the before and after pictures were amazing, and I know the woman was very happy with the job they did.
  • Ah, sorry, they said they only feel comfortable doing it for people they personally know.

    Good luck finding someone, though!
  • If you do find someone outside the context of this board, could you please post it here? I am also interested...
  • certainly. i may end up going with the guy who gave me a quote already, as he did my neighbor's also, and she was happy with it -- i just have to get the price down a bit.
