$600 Room Available in Private House (Park Slope)

We have a room available in our Landmark private home in Park Slope. This is not a roommate situation since access to this 3rd floor room is through a center hall. There is a shared bathroom on that floor but no kitchen. If you are a gourmet cook the no cooking would be the deal breaker. But, if what you are looking for is a beautiful, quiet space and privacy this may be for you. The house is located 1/2 block from the F and R trains so commute to Manhattan is fast. This room gets beautiful light, is furnished, including a new bed and mattress. We do check both personal and work reference and require one month's security deposit. The room is available now or for a move in date of May 1st.

send me a pm if you are interested.

  • Can I possibly get a look at this room tomorrow evening, say between 6:00 and 6:30?

I'm presently working at 7th Avenue Art Supplies & Frames. I suspect your residence would be within walking distance of my workplace.

If tomorrow doesn't work for you, perhaps we can arrange to meet this weekend. Please let me know.

By the way, I would be atailable to move in May 1. I've already paid April's rend on my present space.

As for references, these wouldn't be a problem. In the meantime, however, there's always Google (to "Russell Bittner").

    Thanks!

  • I am also interested in seeing the room sometime tomorrow if possible. My e-mail is [email protected].

  • Oy vey! People, people, PLEASE do not post your personal information on a PUBLIC & GOOGLE SEARCHABLE WEBSITE. Sorry for the caps but it's really not a wise move (I say this cuz I care:) Google archives all the posts in this public forum and once that info is out on the World Wide Web anyone can steal that info and do whatever they want with it, for instance spamming your inbox . Viagra anyone? :spam:

That's why we have the Private Message function on Brooklynian. Click on any user's name and you'll be taken to a page where you can message them safely and privately. It's awesome, give it a shot :thumleft:

Thanks, this concludes this Public Service Announcement.

  • Just to let you know... the room has been rented.
