Early this morning I saw a Verizon crew digging a hole for some tall posts/beams in front of the Met Food on Vanderbilt. I inquired (to whom I believe was their supervisor) if they were installing FIOS wire, and he said yes. He also told me that it was a hub and that more wiring would be spread throughout the neighborhood from there. I asked if that meant Park Place bet. Vanderbilt & Underhill and I took his answer as not only yes, but including Prospect Place as well, and, that we would get service by the end of this summer.So! Good news ahead for people who despise Cablevision!(?)

    A Fios guy told me that they're installing based on the number of requests in an area. So call in requesting as yourself and also as every one of your neighbors and see if that helps. :)

    Verizon in any form SUCKS in terms of customer service, so I wouldn't be so eager to switch from Optimum to Verizon FIOS. When they've screwed you as they've screwed me, don't say you weren't warned.
