Did y'all know that all those campaign posters on street polls are illegal? The sanitation department considers them litter. So all of these candidates looking to uphold the law are technically breaking them on their way to becoming lawmakers.

Now, you can sit around and complain about it, or you can find another way to get the word out. So we on the Batson campaign have come up with our own way to get the word out.

  • now thats innovative! just what we need in Albany!
  • Subject: Everywhere

Those are everywhere! Great job - nice to see something homemade and thoughtful - rather then the typical politician posters.

    Good Luck!
  • Subject: effective and cute

batson has a team of volunteers who have been painting the banners- kids and adults from the neighborhood. it's not just good campaigning on the street, it's also a way to involve more people directly in the campaign.

there are still banners left, so call abeni crooms at 917 609 6700 if you can put one up anywhere in the 57th district....

  • There is an alternate world of political bloggers. Here is what they are saying about our Prospect Heights banners:

Is that supposed to be a bad thing? Am I supposed to like those big mass produced campaign signs- which are also really bland?

Scrappy and indendent:::>That's much more in tune with Prospect Heights. 8)
