Stabbing on Franklin, btwn Lincoln and Eastern Parkway, 2 AM, Aug 4, 2013

The individual died. The NYPD just put out this press release, which Save Brooklyn Now reprinted in its entirety:

Stabbed to Death, Franklin Ave. & Eastern Parkway (77th Precinct)

On Sunday, August 4, 2013 at approximately 0204 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed at Eastern Parkway and Franklin Avenue, within the confines of the 77 Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers observed a M/B/27 with multiple stab wounds about the body, laying on the street. EMS also responded to the location and transported the male to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. There is no one in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

The name of the deceased has been released: Michael Stevens

A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death on a Brooklyn street corner early Sunday, police said.

Michael Stevens, of the Bronx, was stabbed in the shoulders and cheek on Eastern Parkway near Franklin Ave. in Crown Heights just after 2 a.m.

A woman who witnessed the attack said she saw two men assaulting the man.

Stevens was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died.

He had two prior arrests for drugs and one for weapons possession, cops said.

Police were hunting for the attacker Sunday.
