Walking The Streets In Your Pyjamas

It's just as weird when grown women do it too. Guess everyone is too lazy to put on real clothes or since it's the latest trend maybe they think they're in style. Thankfully most people don't pull them down around their butts to get that "thug" look that's so highly prized in some areas.

Depends on what you consider PJs. Active wear and lounge wear like yoga pants or sweats (velour or otherwise, lol!) get a free pass in my book when walking the dog/grabbing take-out/grocery shopping, and quick errands like hitting the post office (especially if you just came from the gym!)

I think if it's well after dark, it's more acceptable. I probably just say this because I do it. I often shower later in the evening and then the only reason I need to leave the house before bed again is to take the dog around the block to pee so I just put on jammies (usually a tee and soft short shorts) and stay in them. At 10pm with the dog, I'll go out in things I'd never wear out in the light of day

If it is dark out you can do it if it is a residential street. I recently wore scrub pants to walk the dog and I knew it was wrong, but it was late and I didn't take my usual route past the bars.
I was at a party on Sat. and a grown man was wearing crocks and another in the 5 finger shoes. Not OK.

At least the people that wear these things aren't into vanity so there's something to be said for that.

Nope, I'm talking full on pyjamas, matching top and bottom with three buttons on the top.
Don't worry, I'm not confusing them with leisure wear or medical scrubs either.
-
Is it wrong to state I think people should be able to walk the streets in their pajamas, but not in leisure suits?

In Sunset Park the Chinese residents regularly hang out on their stoops in pajamas and once I saw a grown man walk around the block into a store in his pajamas in full daylight. Can summer block-long pajama parties be far behind? The coming cooler weather in the fall will put a stop to this.

If there's going to be a pajama party I hope the ghost of Annette Funicello shows up.
